Edition Bangkok Festival promises to be a rave-tastic extravaganza when it goes down Dec. 11 at Moonstar Studios in Lat Phrao. Armin van Buuren, supposedly the “world’s number 1 DJ”, will headline the music fest, as well as up and coming Swedish sensation Avicii. You can follow updates on Edition’s Facebook page here.

EditionBangkok Festival is back – Thailand’s leading Electronic Music Festival!
Performers this year include: Armin van Buuren (NL), Avicii (SE)and a selection of some SE Asia biggest DJ talent, including: Emanuel Skinner (US), Eddy Frampton (CA), Skinny Mark, Ballistic, JstDAFT, GirlsGoneWild, DJ Gift, Peetdator and Overbrothers Crew.
The event will be at Moonstar Studio’s on the 11th of December and will host two main music Arena’s. The production is done by O&P Worldwide, the company that has brought you some of the biggest events in Thailand, such as: Akon Live, Tiesto, S3quence Festival and the previous EditionBangkok 2009.
Background
After the first star packed EditionBangkok back in 2009, with such acts as Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz, O&P have decided to turn the formula into a yearly event. The philosophy of the event is to combine the absolute worlds biggest artists with a top international standard production at attractive Urban venues.

The worlds Nr.1, no bigger name can be booked at this moment, Armin van Buuren has been the worlds number 1 DJ for the last four consecutive years and surpasses any other artist in sales, concert attendances and popularity.
Avicii
The absolutely fastest growing name in Electronic Music, Avicii has shot to stardom in a matter of 2 years. Set to be the worlds future nr.1 and already a top 10 act, his tracks have taken the dance floors worldwide by storm and shows in Europe and the US have already exceeded +20.000 audiences.
