They say not to judge a book by its cover and not to judge a feature film by its low-res, 20-second bootleg teaser clip. However, be that as it may, this sparse few seconds of Only God Forgives—the next feature film from Drive director Nicholas Winding Refn—has us pretty stoked.
As you’ll recall, Only God Forgives features Ryan Gosling as a down-and-out kickboxer/drug-runner in modern-day Bangkok.
The clip features Mr. Gosling doing plenty of kickboxing, a fair amount of what could be drug-running and just a teensy bit of indulging in torture porn.
