The heart of Isaan will be only an hour away once Air Asia launches its new route from Bangkok to mystical Buriram.
The first Buriram flight will take off April 2, which is also during the Phanom Rung festivities, when locals visit Phanon Rung Historical Park to watch the sunset.
Buriram is the fourth new domestic destination the airline launched this year after Nan, Loei and Roi Et.
