A Thai actress, best known internationally for her role in the film Same Same but Different, allegedly live-streamed her boyfriend’s penis by accident on Instagram Story, and now might be slapped with a charge under the Computer Crime Act.
The Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) will summon Apinya “Saipan” Sakuljaroensuk for questioning after the accidental dong shot became the talk of town before it was deleted.
On Friday, Thai social media went wild after Saipan allegedly included a shot of her pantless boyfriend on an Instagram Story, a function to share videos or photos which will disappear after 24 hours.
After screenshots of the post went viral, Saipan deleted the Instagram Story and issued an apology, saying she did not see what the clip included and intended to post it on another account which she keeps private.
Saipan’s manager told Daily News that the actress feels “guilty” about what happened and will be more careful with her online actions from now on.
The 27-year-old could be charged with uploading pornography onto the publicly accessible system, which is punishable with a three year jail term and/or a fine of THB60,000 maximum.
Saipan is famous for co-starring with David Kross in the 2009 German drama Same Same but Different, in which she played a HIV-positive Cambodian prostitute who falls in love with a German man.
