One of the city’s biggest art events, the Bangkok Art Biennale is coming back to Bangkok for a third time, featuring 43 artists from across the globe for four months.

“Chaos: Calm” is the theme of artwork on contemporary urban issues through the eyes of artists, ranging from the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change to political unrest.

The biennale will run Oct. 22 to Feb. 23 at 11 venues across Bangkok, including Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Museum Siam, Wat Arun, Wat Pho, Wat Prayoon, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, and JWD Art Space.

This year’s event presents physical sites as well as pieces that engage audiences in virtual, interactive spaces.

The full lineup was not available online at the time of the publication. More information will be announced at a later date on the website and social media
