Thai tradition has a legacy of sensual imagery, despite today’s more conservative values and boobs-revisionist history. Maybe that’s because sex has been around for a pretty long time.
Eroticism in Thai myths and folktales is at the center of an exhibition by four Thai artists opening tomorrow at the Toot Yung Art Center.
Eroticism in Thai Mythology features work by Haritorn Akarapat, Vasan Sitthiket, Tawan Wattuya and Nino Sarabutra. The exhibition was developed under the direction of Mexican artist Fernando Aceves Humana. It starts at 7pm tomorrow and runs through April 3.
