Who’s Pizza? Your pizza, any way you like it

COCONUTS HOT SPOT — Who’s Pizza? It doesn’t take Abbot and Costello to answer that one.

Looking as if he just fell out of a portal from Brooklyn, chef Eddie is easy to pick out and quick to like. He’ll give you his list of his pizza specialties like the best-selling Pulled Pork and Bacon, or his personal favorite Philly Cheesesteak.

Ultimately it’s your call, though, as Who’s is all about flexibility. Any choice of pizza is the same price and is available by the slice (THB60), half pizza (THB210) or whole pizza (THB399).

Technically speaking, it’s his pizza until you pay for it.

Even though he’s from New York, Eddie is quick to point out that his is not a strict interpretation of New York-style pizza. Instead his recipe comes from an old Italian-American friend in Queens.  His secret to the perfectly crisp crust is double baking; once daily before opening, and again when you order.

It all happens in the W District’s “beer garden” or “food court,” depending on your personal perspective and primary mission, where Who’s Pizza serves up some of the best and most easily customizable slices in Bangkok.

Throughout the rows of multi-ethnic food stalls are a number of isolated gems, but Who’s Pizza is the highlight of the mix.  Grab an order of something else from a different stall, plus a slice of Who’s, and chances are, you’ll wish you had just ordered a second slice of pizza instead.  Luckily the night is still young, so you’ve got plenty of time for more pizza after the next beer tower.
