This experimental exhibition opening at Bangkok’s Art and Culture Centre shows off organic, homemade crafts by young artists. The new generation of creatives is guided by more seasoned, professional artists in their concepts and designs. The “Cross_Stitch Exhibition” is now on daily until September 1.

BOOGIE: Disco Robot presents: The Cherry Pop
Bangkok’s favorite disco jam is back after a long hiatus. DJs JayDubb, Felix Moreno and NK Chan are dimming the lights of Black Pagoda, Silom’s standout sleaze joint, to serve up delectable blends of house, techno and boogie. The party officially wraps at 3am, but cross your fingers and toes it could get pushed a little further.

After a wild month including an anniversary and boat party, it’s back to basics for the Phatfunk kids once again. Guest DJ Figure, one of Bangkok’s most tried and true drum and bass DJs, pops by to spin one of his coveted dark and liquid sets.

DRINK: Thailand Craft Beer Festival
Get ready to rejoice over hops and ales – the kingdom’s first Craft Beer festival is this Saturday. Word on the street is there will be over 50 of the world’s most tasty brews up for the gulping. Entry is free, but for THB 1,200 beer geeks can get four beers, a t-shirt and glass to commemorate the occasion. The beer goggles, of course, are on the house!

Carrying on in the spirit of inebriation, Beervault will also (obviously) be doing its own International Beer Day celebration. The bar is doing buy one get one all night and from 12 to 3pm and 6 to 9pm, it’s only THB 500 for a free flow on the brews. We dare you to sneak in a funnel! There will also be a BBQ buffet featuring foot-long hot dogs (THB 150), burgers and a ploughman’s platter (THB 200), a traditional pub meal of cheese, bread and chutney. Don’t forget to wear a funny hat for a complimentary pint of Singha!

DANCE: Underground Circus presents Sunju Hargun’s Birthday
Glow Nightclub’s monthly installment is celebrating something very special this time around – resident DJ Sunju Hargun’s big 3-0. You’ve probably seen Sunju play under his moniker, Moodwax, and this will be an opportunity to see one of the city’s most seasoned DJs and his best mates in fine form. Also featuring resident Dan Buri and guest DJs Aardy, Boris Rubin, Sarayu.
