This new Bangkok ramen shop closes after serving 35 bowls.

Bangkok has welcomed another tonkotsu ramen specialist Tsu Na Gu, which recently took up the space from Japan Live Kitchen in Ekkamai Soi 6.

The venue only accommodates eight seats per round and serves 35 bowls a day. Tsu Na Gu’s ramen boasts a rich, opaque pork bone broth and slices of melt-in-your-mouth char-siu pork from Kagoshima Prefecture.

Go for the special (THB380), featuring three hearty slices of char-siu topped with seasoned bamboo shoots and soft-boiled eggs; the thick, almost al-dente-like noodles are chewy and pair perfectly with the broth. The regular bowl, which features only two slices of char-siu, is priced at THB290. If you’re wanting more pork, you can also order their pork char-siu rice bowl for THB150.

The place takes only eight seats per round. Booking in advance is required. More information is available online.

Tsu Na Gu is located on Soi Ekkamai 6. It currently opens from 11am until 6pm every day, except Monday.
