There’s no need to be an early bird just to snag some freshly made soy milk at the market now: A new soy milk cafe serving the healthy drink from late morning until evening has opened up in Siam Square.

Square Bar opened a few weeks ago across from the 50-year-old standalone cinema Scala. The cafe offers a list of coffee, cocoa and tea drinks with the option to add chewy boba pearls, and highlights its plant-based, nondairy alternative: soy milk made from 100-percent organic soy beans that’s made on a daily basis. It’s also vegan-friendly and lactose-free, of course.

Here are some of the items you can get: Black Sesame Soy Milk (THB55), Belgian Cocoa Soy Milk (THB65), Matcha Green Tea Soy Milk (THB65) and Thai Tea Soy Milk (THB55).

Additionally, you can add basil seeds for THB10, or tapioca pearls or brown sugar jelly toppings that range from THB10 to THB15.

Note that it might be hard to spot the cafe because it’s located inside the long-standing Scala Shark Fin restaurant on Soi Siam Square 1.
