The more decent the bagel, the merrier.
Saying that Bangkok can never have too many bagels is not an exaggeration. Joining the surge in bagel cafes in the capital city lately is a joint venture tucked in a small soi in Phra Khanong area called Remy’s.
Opening its doors just earlier this week, Remy’s sells homemade bagels made fresh daily, with highlights like Remy’s Salmon Garlic Herb Cream Cheese (salmon, garlic herb cream cheese, lettuce, cucumber and sweet onion sauce for THB190), Josh’s Roasted Beef Truffle Cream Cheese (roasted beef, truffle cream cheese, sliced cheese, barbecue sauce for THB230) and Ryu’s Shrimp Ebiko Mayo (fresh shrimp, shrimp roe, pesto cream cheese, shrimp roe mayo, lettuce and cucumber for THB210).
For those looking for bagels as desserts, they can go for Rachel’s Choco Banana Nutella Cream Cheese (choco-flavored bagel, banana, nutella cream cheese, choco cream, mixed nuts for THB140) or Charlie’s PB&J (peanut butter, blueberry jam and fresh blueberry for THB140). The full menu is available online.
Choices of bagel include oats, wholewheat, everything (poppy seeds and sesame), cheddar jalapeno, sunflower seeds and white sesame. They range from THB35 to THB60.
Located in Soi Sukhumvit 69, the cafe opens from 9am till 7pm. With the current ban on dining-in in Bangkok, Remy’s bagels are available to order directly via Line @remys.bkk or via food delivery services such as Grab, Line Man and Robinhood.
