Want to hit the links to take some swings and swigs but turned off by the toxic air outdoors? This conundrum is easily solved at a new Bangkok bar that comes with its own indoor miniature golf course.
Opened recently in the Chinatown area, The Shot Bangkok combines booze and bank shots across two floors decorated in red neon and Chinese-style murals, each with its own nine-hole mini golf course: The Secret Garden and The Emperor.
The courses include a variety of layouts including a stroke-challenging ascent across The Great Wall and a spiral ramp in the titular ninth hole of The Secret Garden. At the bar, find beers, cocktails and some fusion dishes to fuel your putting spree.
The mini golf course is priced differently depending on when you want to play: THB200 Tuesday to Thursday, includes drink deals (such as happy-hour or free flow); and THB300 per person Friday to Sunday, one drink included. Guests can walk in or book online.
This bar-mini golf concept has ambitions of being more than a hole in one – owners plan to open future venues in the Thonglor and Sathorn areas.
The Shot Bangkok is open every day except Monday. It’s located on Soi Yaowarat 11 and can be reached from MRT Wat Mangkon.
