Never trust anyone that doesn’t like pizza. The combo of crispy crust, tangy sauce, and layer of salty, savory cheese is many people’s idea of the perfect binge food. While the old saying that even a bad pizza is still pretty good is true, it’s still worthwhile to seek out the best nearby pie.
That’s why we have done the work of rounding up the city’s best pizzas just for you.
While we’re rounding up the city’s best, why not check out our list of the best late night eats in Asia’s City of Angels, the coolest theme cafes in the Big Mango, and the booziest ladies nights in Krung Thep.

The pizza makers at Peppina are not messing around. They adhere to strict Naples-style rules for pizza making. In fact, they even belong to the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, an association that protects the rich heritage of pizza around the world.
They use simple ingredients and cook their pies quickly at high heat to produce a telltale blistered crust. Their food is not cheap but they don’t skimp on quality either.
Their Zucca pizza (THB280 for medium, THB390 for regular), featuring pumpkin, fossa cheese, walnuts, and red onion is one of the most interesting pies we’ve ever tried.

Arguably the expat choice for pizza delivery, this take-out only joint, based in Asoke, most closely resembles American pizza. They do Bangkok’s first massive 18-inch New York-style pizza (that’s larger than two 12-inch pies put together. Yes, this requires more than simple addition to figure out) that has instructions inside the box for to to lift, fold, and properly eat a New York-sized slice.
When they can keep the dough in stock, they also do an amazing Detroit-style, which resembles the pizza known as Sicilian-style in some parts of the world. The super-thick, square pie is heaven on Earth and the dough requires a very specific imported flour and extra-long rising time, which, the owner once told us, is why it often sells out as soon as it’s ready.
Among their best varieties is the White Pizza, a pie without red sauce but with New York-style ricotta cheese, caramelized onions, grana padano cheese, and fresh basil (THB365 for 12 inch).

- Pizza Massilia (pizza truck and permanent locations)
This authentic Italian Pizza Massilia has several locations around the city, including in Phloen Chit and Upper Sukhumvit, but we prefer their original location — an iconic-looking truck, which evokes old Europe in taste as much as looks.
Somehow the pizza tastes better while you enjoy feeling the breeze in your hair while sipping a cold Peroni and chomping pizza off blue-and-white checked cotton tablecloths.
Chef and partner Luca Apino agreed, “ This place has the feeling of a true pizza truck made for the piazzas, where you eat with friends by the roadside. It feels like Europe, there is freedom and no pretension — but we’ve got good beer and wine,” he said.
Our favorite pie is the to-die-for Tropea’s red onion, which features organic Italian tomato sauce, DOP buffalo mozzarella from Salerno, finely sliced and plentiful red onions from the Tropea region of Italy, and basil for THB420.

They don’t have an eat-in restaurant, but Gallery Pizza delivers artisanal 12-inch pies until 4am. Boom! They also have wine and beer delivery and offer an ongoing special of any two pizzas for THB500. Gallery’s wood-fired pizzas come in just one size, 12 inches, and can easily be polished off by one person with a good appetite.
They use real pepperoni on their pies, unlike many pizza places in Bangkok that use a variation on a Thai spicy sausage that they call pepperoni. Their vodka sauce also merits a mention since it’s the star element of what has become their signature pie. The rich, creamy tomato sauce turns a pie into an even more decadent experience, and one that we highly recommend. The vodka pie with pepperoni has become Gallery’s most popular off-menu order.

This classic Italian restaurant in Phrom Phong has been unassumingly serving up some of the best pies in the city since 1976. It’s also a sweet, warm, welcoming location perfect for catching up with old friends, bringing your parents, or taking a date.
Their affordable pies are the ultimate comfort food. However, among our favorites is the most expensive on the menu: the Pizza Capri (THB370) seafood pie loaded high with shrimp, clams, and mussels. They are also one of the only places in the city to offer a whole wheat crust option.
