An uber-popular Korean breadhouse has arrived in Bangkok, with queues lining up outside in its first days since opening on the weekend.

Mil Toast House is giving Seoul-starved Bangkokians a taste of the South Korean capital with a branch of its renowned bakery.

The space is swimming in beige and decked out with wood touches to recall a simpler, more pastoral setting familiar to our K-drama addicts out there.

Reputed for its bread products such as steamed bread rolls served in bamboo baskets and quaintly wrapped in cloth, and an irresistible souffle French toast with vanilla ice cream (THB335), the bakery has also touched up its menu to cater to Thai tastes. This means more sweet bites like Bangkok-exclusive steamed Nutella brioche (THB310) are on the offer.

Some of the most popular options lean toward savory flavors, however, such as ham- and corn-stuffed steamed buns (THB290).

Wash it down with family-friendly milk drinks in five flavors including Hershey Nutella, chestnut, and peanut (THB120 to THB150).

Mil Baked House is located in Soi Siam Square 3, only a block from BTS Siam. It’s open 10am to 8pm every day.
