A night of controversial fashion, art and alcohol at Whiteline

A club night at Whiteline promises to be a little more sinful with “S+I+N,” a fashion show and art exhibition by Thai-American Michael Shaowanasai, one of Thailand’s most provocative and controversial artists.

S+I+N will include a fashion show, performances, and art installations. For those who are less keen on the abstract, a line of wearable art pieces will also be displayed on the catwalk.

Among some of Shaowanasai’s most provocative creations include the “Fresh Young Boys’ Semen for Sale” performance at Patpong, and cross-dressing monk photograph “Portrait of Man in Habits.” His conceptual works ranging from performance to photography, video, painting and art installations, can be controversial, especially in Thai society.

He is also known for co-founding Project 304, a Bangkok-based contemporary art group.

Entry is THB200 with one free drink.
