After its short-lived station inside Saphan 55 on upper Thonglor, a burger joint by burger mastermind Daniel Thaiger has reopened at a new location in Asoke.
With only delivery available for the past several months, Stax finally has a permanent location on Soi Sukhumvit 21/1, right next to the Four Twenty Dispensary.
The burgers there take a different approach compared to its sister brand, as they went full “smash burger” style. Expect a thin-but-perfectly-seared beef patty sandwiched in lightly toasted square buns. Keep it simple with the classic burger (pork or beef patty, dill pickle, onion, ketchup, and mustard), which starts at THB130. A combo of two burgers and fries is affordable, too, at only THB240.
Other options include a fried-chicken burger (ranch or spicy mayo, pickled cucumber, and buffalo chicken) and what’s called Wild West Stax, which comes with jalapenos, bacon, American cheese, onion rings, and a patty (beef or pork).
Stax was founded by a creative force behind Brew Beer & Ciders bar and Daniel Thaiger burger truck.
Stax is located on Soi Sukhumvit 21/1 in the Asoke area. It’s a short walk from BTS Asok or MRT Sukhumvit. It’s open 11am until 9pm every day, except Monday.
