Korean gourmet sandwich ‘Eggdrop’ to open 1st branch in Bangkok

Expect waves of K-series fans to hit Siam Square soon.

South Korea’s massively popular breakfast chain, Eggdrop, is coming to Bangkok — with its first branch set to open in Siam Square this December. More details will be announced on a later date via Eggdrop Thailand’s social media.

Known for its wide variety of sandwiches featuring fluffy and gooey egg fillings wrapped in thick slices of brioche, the franchise gained global attention thanks to Korean television drama series Hospital Playlists where cast members would tease the audience’s taste buds by eating the sandwiches on screen.

Expect the same iconic visual aesthetics of thick butter toasted bread slices stuffed with ham, cheese, and crispy bacon to be filling up your Instagram feeds in no time.

Eggdrop’s first store opened in 2017 and the brand has since expanded to more than 275 locations across South Korea.
