A cafe with nearly two dozen branches nationwide announced it is giving free drinks at all locations for those who have been inoculated with a COVID-19 vaccine.

Inspired by similar campaigns encouraging people to get jabbed abroad, Class Cafe is asking customers to just show any evidence of at least one shot such as a vaccine certificate or a photograph of them being inoculated, to get a THB90 cold-pressed juice or other drink of THB75 value.

It’s giving away 500 drinks per day at each branch. Only one drink per vaccinated person.

It’s the first such wide campaign on a national level and comes weeks before a meaningful supply of vaccine has reached the public. Just over 2 million people have received at least one shot so far.

Class Cafe opened in 2013 in Nakhon Ratchasima by former tech CEO Marut Chumkuntod. It has 22 branches in cities and provinces including Korat, Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom, Pathum Thani and Khon Kaen.
