In a quixotic effort to change the bacchanalian nature of Full Moon parties, tourism authorities will introduce water sport competitions next month in Hat Rin.
Authorities said they hoped that water events at the monthly parties, which draw 6,000-14,000 visitors, will help to create a “different atmosphere,” The Bangkok Post reported.
