Soi Sukhumvit 14 has welcomed a new underground speakeasy that resonates with the nostalgia of 1930s prohibition mobsters – and, yes, it serves cocktails named after the bad guys during the Public Enemy era.

Located underneath the Coach Hotel, Abandoned Mansion offers an extravagant space that matches nightly jazz performances with strong drinks named after renowned gangsters from the 1930s.

As visitors step in, they’ll find a large space with plush couches that can accommodate up to 80 people. They also can’t miss the mezzanine built above the bar, which is the stage for live jazz performance.

Keep it strong and simple with John Dillinger (THB420), a popcorn-infused whiskey, red vermouth reduction, and Dom liqueur, or two-toned Bonnie and Clyde dedicated to the crime couple (gin, moscato grape, lemon, and homemade violet bitter for THB430).

Guests who prefer something seemingly sweet but actually boozy should go for Baby Face Nelson (vodka, rose and vanilla shrub, raspberry reduction, white chocolate, and topped with roasted marshmallow, THB430).

Live bands will play every night and they rotate every week. Cigars are also available — for both sale and smoking — inside an enclosed area.

Abandoned Mansion is located beneath the Coach Hotel in Soi Sukhumvit 14, very close to BTS Asok. It opens at 6pm every day except Monday.
