A Paris-based fashion brand and music label will bring its first trendy coffee shop in Southeast Asia to Bangkok.

Blending French chic and Japanese cool into a single cafe for 18 years, Maison Kitsune on September 1 will arrive in the Thai capital and hang its shingle in the crowded cafe scene.

Cafe Kitsune will open on the ground floor of luxury shopping mall EmQuartier on September 1. While the menu for the Bangkok branch hasn’t been revealed, fans in Bangkok can expect iconic fox-shaped biscuits (fox being the titular kitsune in Japanese) served with their coffee as well as a quality, curated playlist.

Combining the music and design spheres, Maison Kitsune was founded by Gildas Loaec and Masaya Kuroki. Gildas was an artistic director of French electronic duo Daft Punk, and Masaya’s background involves design and architecture.

Currently the cafe has 10 branches around the world including New York, Shanghai, Seoul and Tokyo.
