K Village Sukhumvit 26 was already a great place to be if you needed to shop for gourmet products, get an expert haircut, or sip wine. Every second Sunday of the month, the place transforms into a foodie and family wonderland complete with live music, entertaining chef demos, and plenty of tastings. The farmer’s market is an international attraction, drawing in Thais and farang alike in the spirit of gourmet camaraderie.

You’re guaranteed to spot your favorite cheeses, but you’re going to love coming across new finds as well. Local brands bring their latest goods here to preview to the public, imported items get a chance to shine off the shelf at easy access booths.

The K Village Farmers Market is definitely a weekend activity must for families. Kids will be entertained for hours watching their favorite foods get made before their eyes.  Things get hands on with the workshops like how to make sausage, Italian ice cream from Florence, and cute gardens inside wine bottles. A great perk, the arts and crafts activities for kids are completely free.

With so many snack options available, you’re going to be able to make everyone happy no matter how picky your kids are about food. To top things off, there’s even pony riding. Your kids are going to lose their minds when they find out their weekend involves horseback riding.

Unlike a lot of outdoor markets in Bangkok, K Village’s farmer’s market is super easy to navigate on foot. Walking around is a breeze, there’s no dodging of electrical wires or tripping over cracked cement. Because the market is outdoors, it’s pet friendly. Bring your pooch and peruse the market together.

Good things may come to those who wait, but it’s way more fun to dig into new delicacies right away. Instead of waiting until you get home to snack, plop down in one of the many seating options and get your feast on.
