Front Room, Waldorf Astoria Bangkok

Front Room has undergone a transformation over the past year, switching up Nordic-style fine-dining for authentic Thai cuisine. Led by chef de cuisine Sarocha “Bua” Rajatanawin in consultation with Chef Supanat “Ann” Khanarak and culinary professor Dr. Niphatchanok Najpinij, the Front Room team have crafted a new menu that celebrates eight distinct flavors of Thai cuisine, spanning several different regions – all of which are meant to elicit the comfort of home-style Thai cooking, with the fine-dining twist the restaurant is known for. The decor and setting are as pristine as ever, with high ceilings, nature-inspired interiors, and an open kitchen that gives diners a window into the techniques and sizzling sounds of talented chefs at work.

FLOW, Millennium Hilton Bangkok

The most noteworthy venue at Hilton’s flagship riverside hotel in Bangkok got a new look last year. The sleek, newly renovated interior of FLOW now includes a terrace that allows for all-day open-air dining, as well as indoor seating overlooking the river. Situated at the heart of the hotel, the restaurant boasts five display kitchens, where chefs entice diners with the likes of wok-fried Chinese dishes, expertly cooked wagyu steak and delicate souffles. The menu here runs the gamut of international cuisines, including Indian, Chinese and European, and also presents a good selection of local Thai favorites. Other highlights are the cheese room, boasting one of the biggest selections in Thailand, the six-meter wine wall to get your drink on, and a lavish Sunday Brunch by the River with live music and its signature dessert theater. Arguably the best part of the dine-in experience is enjoying the riverside views while you eat.

Horizon Rooftop Restaurant & Bar, Hilton Pattaya

Long-renowned as one of the most sophisticated rooftop experiences in all of Pattaya, Horizon Rooftop Restaurant & Bar sits a breezy 34 storeys above the ground, and offers stunning views of the surrounding city and ocean. It’s one of the few places in town that lets you forget about the bustling city down below (something Bangkok folks will appreciate). Massive floor-to-ceiling windows make for an elegant indoor dining experience, while guests can take in views of the skyline and soak in the outdoor air from the terrace Infinity Bar—the perfect setting for a few cocktails after the meal. The food here takes a fusion lean with the likes of popcorn pork larb moo tod (crispy pork meatballs with herbs) and miso-glazed snowfish served with sweet potato purée, apple salad and nori sauce. The real star here is the bar menu—and the knowledgeable staff who can walk you through it. Go all-out on the tropical vibes with a blue mojito (mint leaves, blue curaçao, lime and soda) or a signature Mallika cocktail with house-made flower syrup.

Ocean Beach Club, Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa

In a region overflowing with beach clubs and villas, Ocean Beach Club at Hilton Phuket stands out for its lush and spacious surroundings, situated on the edge of Karon Beach and the sparkling Andaman Sea. This combined pool bar and restaurant is the perfect location for light bites while soaking up rays on a sun bed, indulging in refreshing cocktails accompanying sunset views, or embracing a hearty mix of Asian and Mediterranean food, including meat skewers, wraps, decadent pastas and burgers. This is definitely an establishment not to be missed if you are looking for an all-around experience that can carry on into the night.
