Chef power couple Duangporn “Bo” Songvisava and Dylan Jones quietly relocated their casual Thai eatery to a new location in Thonglor.

Formerly in the old town at Tha Tien and then at their famed first restaurant, Bo.lan, Err Urban Rustic Thai has a new permanent home on Soi Sukhumvit 55. It reopened Sunday after being closed for several months.

Guests can expect the same top-quality ingredients and full-bodied Thai tastes with playful drinking food alongside various fermented, grilled, and stir-fried dishes.

Err Urban Rustic Thai is located on Soi Sukhumvit 55, only 500 meters from BTS Thong Lo. It’s open from 5pm until late every day, except Wednesday.

Famously, Bo and Dylan appeared in the Netflix anthology Chef’s Table. They opened their pioneering Thai fine dining restaurant in 2009. It took fine dining to another level with a focus on traditional dishes, uncompromising flavors and sustainability; Bo.lan rose to fame and became a stalwart in annual guides including Michelin.

Bo.lan announced its closure in early 2021, with chef Bo citing the lack of foreigners and government support. Dylan wrote in Coconuts that the administration had failed many restaurants including his. One year later, Bo.lan reopened with very limited seats.
