Thailand made a splash in the Australian culinary scene at the MLA Black Box Culinary challenge by beating out other teams from around Southeast Asia and beyond during the final rounds.
MLA Black Box follows a similar model to Iron Chef, where contestants are given a secret “black box” ingredient and required to come up with an entire menu in a very limited amount of time.Team Thailand showcased their talent by working with an array of lamb rump and ocean trout to create dishes that wowed the audience and judges alike.
One small step for contestants Lesly Stronash and Amia Gan, one giant leap for Thailand’s culinary recognition.
