The controversial figure behind Iron Fairies is at it again.
Ashley Sutton has unveiled his latest project and it’s a noodle shop with a secret. “Maggie Choo’s” restaurant will serve authentic Thai-Chinese shop house fare in Silom. However, there’s a twist.
“In the corner of the restaurant there is a couple of wooden doors that lead to a derelict 19th century East India company bank built in 1847 used for storing porcelain and spices that the British used to carry back to England for Queen Victoria,” Sutton said via email.
And what could those doors lead to? “A high class club with the best Blues and Jazz in town matched with high class hostesses.”
Sutton has yet to release an opening date for the noodle shop/swank nightspot, but expect more updates soon.
