Cold spells are so last season. This summer, it’s all about embracing the heat from the stylish shores of your favorite beach. And now you don’t even have to leave the BTS Sukhumvit Line because The EM District World’s Pop-up Beach has brought the world’s top beach destinations to Phrom Phong.
The EM District World’s Pop-up Beach is an experiential pop-up that brings the world’s most dreamy beaches to Bangkok: the French Riviera, Ipanema, Bondi, Miami, Phuket, Koh Phangan and Mykonos are all represented at the pop space at Quartier Avenue, on the Ground Floor of The EmQuartier.
Start your experience by taking a virtual flight to your favorite beach destination on The EM District Beach Airlines. Every evening from 7pm-10pm get your boarding pass from the check in counter at the Phrom Phong BTS Station and your avatar will be digitally mapped and projected onto The Emporium and The EmQuartier boarding his or her flight.

Then, head down to the pop space at Quartier Avenue to sip drinks, eat delicious food and experience the beach atmosphere. The beach party kicked off with a special lineup for launch day sponsored by Vogue Lounge. Bangkok’s hippest beach bums experienced fine dining by 3-Michelin starred Chef Vincent Thierry, cool signature cocktails by international award-wining mixologist, sick beats by local DJs and the coolest crowd around. And yes, you can sit with them.

There will be live bands, performances, mini ping pong, chess, hula-hoops, a glitter tattoo station, relaxing massages and more from 11pm-10pm until April 27, 2016. There are special games, giveaways and activities for the weekend crowd so now you know where to spend your Saturday and Sunday.

Who loves the beach more than kids? Get the little ones excited with The EM District Summer Beach Camp on the Quartier Water Garden on the 5th floor of The Helix Quartier. It’s a family friendly beach paradise. Kids and teens can learn how to climb, zipline and conquer fears at the Ropes Course Adventure. For budding artists, the Interactive Beach Camp transforms doodles and drawings into moving images on screen. Summer Beach Workshop provides weekly creative edutainment programs and the Summer Camp Shop offers a curated collection from BeTrend and Kids’ Planet to inspire creativity and learning.
