Three years after a brunch and coffee place opened inside a 19th-century shophouse in Charoen Krung, it has announced expansion plans that include another branch dedicated to roasting coffee beans.
Sarnies Bangkok, located in Soi Charoen Krung 44, said this week that it would open another branch called Sarnies Roastery on lush, green Soi Ton Son near BTS Chit Lom.
“The anticipation is real. If you haven’t already heard, we are launching Sarnies Roastery real soon, Bangkokians!” Sarnie Bangkok wrote. “Our newest spot is right on Tonson Road (Pine Tree Road) dotted with pine trees and beautiful greenery. Our interior is heavily inspired by the surrounding area and it’s reflected in the beautiful pine interior.”
The opening date will be announced later.
In December 2018, Sarnies Bangkok took over an over 150-year-old shophouse that was once a boat repair shop. It’s best known for serving freshly roasted coffee and brunch items with Asian twists.
This is not the first roaster opened by Sarnies Bangkok. A few years back, A Stimulant by Sarnies opened inside the garden of Soi Sukhumvit 39’s now-defunct Kram. Just last year, during the pandemic, Team Sarnies opened a salad joint in Silom called Pimp My Salad.
