Try and buy direct from people passionate about good food this Sunday at the triannual Big Bite food fest.
Big Bite acts as a launching pad for the city’s burgeoning chefs and restaurateurs to showcase their wares. A rigorous selection process, they say, means a curated line-up from some of the city’s rising stars and resident masters of the craft. Expect to see food from Opposite Mess Hall, Appia, Bo.Lan, Superbdog, Surface Kitchen & Garden Lab, with refreshment via Beervana and Me Juice.
Organizer BKKFatty promises a unique experience.
“This isn’t a farmer’s market,” said Dwight Turner of the foodie site BKKFatty. “Big Bite is a feasting market.” Saturday’s food festival comes just days before Americans stuff themselves for Thanksgiving, and in the spirit of giving, Proceeds from donations will go to In Search of Sanuk, a charity which helps abused women and girls.
