Tomorrow is America’s birthday, and whether you’re after some good, clean fun with a backyard barbecue or getting blitzed on beer and burgers, we’ve got a pretty good variety of themed events going on tomorrow, Friday and Saturday.
Hemingway’s 4th July Celebration
After shutting down nearly three years ago, the beloved hangout among expats is finally back in the city’s nightlife scene at a new location. This Independence Day, it’s a chance to visit the recently reopened Hemingway’s to grab burgers and chug down a drink or two. The place is getting full-on with its American party theme for the evening, with outdoor barbecue in the garden and acoustic bands playing American classics.
When: 5pm – 9pm on Thursday

4th of July Comedy Cook-out
Stagetime Comedy Club is joining hands with a sports bar to host a night of delicious food and live comedic performances. Stand-up comedian Stevo Joslin will perform alongside guest performers Chris Raufeisen and Jackson Foshay. Ticket prices, which include a barbecue buffet, are THB500 per person for advanced purchases, or THB700 at the door.

4th Of July at Mikkeller Bangkok X MRC
The Ekkamai garden brewery will celebrate big with what it does best: craft beer. Mikkeller Bangkok will be flying in some special beers from its branches in Copenhagen, New York, San Diego. They’re also setting up cornhole and beer pong tournaments and traditional-style barbecue.

AMCHAM Independence Day Picnic 2019
Hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce, the annual event will comprise of fun-packed activities for all ages from outdoor picnic and live music to tug-of-war, raffles and soccer tournament. Tickets with advance purchase are THB200, or are THB300 at the door. Children under 12 get in free.
