Created by the team behind Clara—a fine dining spot which ranked 21st in the 50 Best Italian Restaurants 2023—Luna by Clara which first had a pop up at Kamalaya Koh Samui resort is coming to town for a six-month pop-up.

At the Samui location, founders Christian Martena and Clara Del Corso-Martena have crafted a relaxing under-the-stars dining experience among the island’s lush greenery.

At a dedicated space in Sathorn, these upscale vacation elements are lifted right from the beach and into Bangkok’s pop-up. Simulating the candlelit dinner style, the venue is bathed in sunset lighting, decorated with potted plants, and light wood furniture.

It also includes an open bamboo-made kitchen area and bar counter for diners to get an up close view of the preparation process.

Led by chef Simone Scarparo, the restaurant follows the concept of “sustainable mindful cuisine,” sourcing and elevating local Thai produce—especially ingredients that are native to Samui such as seafood and coconuts.
