Ardent cafe hoppers about town may have already visited most of the cool cafes in Ari, Siam and Thonglor — but what about this cafe housed inside a three-story vintage-style building that can transport its visitors, if just for a moment, to Europe?
B-Story Garden is a coffee shop-slash-eatery decorated with naked brick walls, elegant chandeliers, lots of high windows, plus paintings and sculptures of glorious gods and goddesses. It’s impossible not to snap some pictures after having a cup of coffee.
The popular menu items here include the cafe’s hot and cold drinks, from lattes to fruity teas that come with adorable animal-shaped milk froth on top. The beverages pair well with a variety of desserts in the cake display cabinet: Snickers Caramel Macadamia (THB135), Carrot Cheese Cake (THB135), Blueberry Tart (THB135) and a jar of banoffee pie (THB125).
For some proper meals, visitors can opt for the Croque Monsieur with Eggs (ham sandwich with cheese for THB145), Smoked Salmon Salad (smoked salmon slices, fresh veggies and wafu Japanese vinaigrette-style salad dressing for THB265) and Salmon Hollandaise Sauce (grilled salmon steak served with asparagus, carrot and mashed potato for THB320.)
It hasn’t even been open for a full month, but with its romantic decor and candlelit ambience, B-Story has already hosted some wedding ceremonies — yes, the venue is open for private events such as proposal ceremonies, bridal showers, birthday parties and more.
B-Story Garden is located on Soi Pradit Manutham 23 in the Lat Phrao district of Bangkok. Unlike the original branch, this location is not conveniently close to any BTS or MRT station. It’s best to go there by car. Another option would be sharing a cab with friends from MRT Lat Phrao, which is about 8km away.
B-Story Garden is at 33/25, Soi Pradit Manutham 23, Lat Phrao, Bangkok
