WTF has outdone themselves again. The little cocktail bar on Sukhumvit soi 51 is celebrating its second birthday in style — not with a party, but a full-blown three-day art festival. There’s tons of stuff happening on the weekend of April 26-28. Here are some highlights:
April 26, 10PM: Hennessy VS presents Very Special Sounds: Kevin Organ Trio
They’re bringing back Hennessy cocktails (and perhaps some new concoctions) from last month’s Very Special Sounds. This time, the Kevin Organ Trio will be filling the room with live jazz and funk.
April 27, 9PM: Charity Art Auction for Dog Shelter Foundation
Some of Bangkok’s best local artists, like Chitti Kasemkitvatana, Sutee Kunavichayanont, Kwanchai Lichaikul, Justin Mills, Thaweesak Srithongdee, Kornkrit Jianpinidnan and many others are donating their art to be bid on. All proceeds go to the Dog Shelter Foundation, whose aim is to provide a better life for soi dogs.
April 28, 4PM-1AM: Block Party Curated by DJ Maft Sai
DJs spinning soul, funk and old school, barbecue and good beer under the sun. At 9pm, the party will move to opposite. Keep an eye out for the DJ line up on the WTF event page.
