Hope you saved some pennies from your last paycheck for the Yellow Submarine Soma party happening this Friday, March 30, at Cosmic Cafe in RCA.
The funky freak indie rock party organizers hope to take you under the sea with the help of The Beatles, The Drums, The Friendly Fires and all other sorts of bands that begin with the definite article.
All three floors of space will be in use. First floor is Club Soma Live featuring local Bangkok folk rockers Kobe. Up the stairs you’ll find an installation and motion graphic art by Bangkok artists Pu and Puttisak, otherwise known as Sweet P. The top floor will host the dance party with a slew of DJs and party people.
Watch out for scandalous costume and props like seaweed, blow-up dolphin toys, squeaky inner tubes and goggles. All I can say is, I don’t want to imagine what’s going to happen to Flipper in that crowd…. Tickets are 200 THB and include one drink.
