SOULS OF BANGKOK — Aui, Ploy and Mew are best friends and high school seniors. They were recently wandering, as teenagers do, through Siam Square after shopping for books. A few months away from graduation, they talked about their future lives in their dream universities to follow a six-month break. “I plan to learn English and improve my language skills,” Aui said to her classmates agreement. “I want to go travel as well, since all we do is study, even on weekends. But we have to be well prepared for university, so future wins over fun-time.”
