SOULS OF BANGKOK — Nattapant Poomchusri recently graduated, and he’s preparing to leave Thailand to study a graduate degree in finance. As often happens, his thoughts have turned to eating. Eating Thai food. Nattapant said he’s not worried and won’t miss Thai food too much. For one, he can cook and also, there are abundant Thai restaurants throughout the world. He will miss something that’s more often a source of complaints than praise: the taxis.
“Taxis in Europe are very expensive, whereas taxis in Bangkok are so cheap and convenience,” he said.
