Siam Square One is ready to serve

Choosing where to eat lunch at Siam Square just got even more complicated.

Restaurants, shops and the usual mix of fashion and lifestyle can be found at Siam Square One, which opened its doors last Thursday.

Bangkok’s newest mall rose from the ashes of the Siam, a historic cinema which went up in flames four years ago during the military’s crackdown on red shirt protesters.

Not all of its seven floors are open, and visitors can still smell the paint. Located across from Siam Paragon, it’s located just next to BTS Siam, which enters into the building’s third floor.

Most of café and dining restaurants located on the fourth and fifth floors are open. Some areas are still under construction with everything expected to be fully open by November. There’ll be mixture of local and international fashion brands as well as some “flagship” stores.

The mall does promise some original, non-chain restaurants to try, and there’s some opening discounts available now.

The fourth floor includes cafés, international food, sweets and juice bars.
Places like White Flower Factory, Patisserie Mori Osaka, Yingdeaw Homemade and Hollys Coffee look interesting.

Fine international dining is on the fifth floor. Restaurants include Kimju Budaejjigae, Lim-Lao-Ngow Bistro, Akiyoshi, Paya Satay and Eat Pot by Cafe Chili

Besides all the eats, Siam Square One offers new views on the Siam Square scene, begging to be photographed and hashtagged #COCOBKK.
