Two historical Chao Phraya River communities welcomed visitors last week to show their character and celebrate a recent nod from UNESCO. distinction.
The “Art in Sois” festival was held in the Kadeejeen and Khlongsan neighborhoods with activities including vendors preparing local food using special, neighborhood recipes, DIY crafting, traditional performances and more.
Along with the festival, there was also a celebration held for Wat Prayun Wongsawat Worawihan, or Prayun temple, for winning a cultural conservation award from UNESCO for the restoration of its chedi.
