Photo Essay: An insect’s point of view

Fields of flowers numbering in the thousands spread out like a colorful sea or are arranged in aesthetic bunches. That’s how we see them, at least.

But for pollen- and nectar-hungry insects, flowers and plants are seen in another perspective. A small thing for us becomes a huge world, as in these photographs taken from the recent Suan Luang Rama IX Flowers Festival.
