BKK Unseen: Escape urban sprawl to Bangkok’s Green Lung (VIDEO)

In the second episode of BKK Unseen, Coconuts TV gets away from the urban sprawl of Bangkok and visits the “Green Lung”, a short boat-ride across the Chao Phraya River.

Bang Krachao, a laid-back, lush, smog-free oasis, is still a relatively untouched green space, which is perfect for those who just have to escape the city, if only for a day.

Cycling, or walking if that’s your thing, along the many pathways shrouded by papaya and coconut trees, visiting the Siamese Fighting Fish Gallery, an authentic floating market (only open on weekends), and relaxing in the 100 acre Sri Nakhon Kuenkhan Park are some of the life-affirming things to do at the Green Lung.

Oh, and breathing in fresh air.
