Elephants in Thailand are known for their wild streak, from dry-humping a car to making a biker plead for his life, which shows that they do what they want, when they want.
A group of photographers in Yala’s Than To district found this out firsthand yesterday after an elephant emerged from the forest and charged at them, forcing the men to make a hasty getaway on their motorbikes.
The pachyderm was clearly unhappy about the photographers driving so close on their bikes and decided to scare them off by chasing after them and loudly trumpeting. Mission accomplished.
When the men reached a safe distance, they bravely stopped their bikes and took photos of the elephant as it walked back to the forest.
If the cameras were not too shaky, the men probably captured a few up close and personal shots they won’t forget.
