Anyone out there have a serious croissant obsession? If so, for this long holiday weekend, you might consider checking out Siam Square’s new Wolf Croissanterie, which, as the name suggests, specializes in the classic French pastry.
Owned by Bangkok-based foodie Kirathi Ussavavechmongkol, who attended the French-Thai joint venture Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School, the store opened just last month and has been serving up croissants with creative twists and generous fillings.
Menu highlights include the Milkway Croissant (THB80), which comes loaded with a semi-sweet milk cream inside, and the Lemon Cheese Croissant (THB85), which is stuffed with a lemony cheese cream concoction before being topped with cheesecake cubes.
The store’s special menu of the month embraces Bangkok’s bubble tea craze, which has been ascending to new, ever-wackier heights of late. Fans of the beverage can savor an Okinawa Brown Sugar Jelly Milk Tea Croissant (THB85), which contrasts flaky, buttery pastry with luscious milk tea cream and chewy brown sugar jelly.
Wolf Croissanterie is located on the second floor of the recently-opened Siam Square hangout Lido Connect. It’s open from 11am to 7:30pm every day. The store is best reached by BTS Siam.
