It’s Friday afternoon, and the sight of this happy, heart-melting temple puppy is apparently exactly what Twitter users needed to wrap up their weeks — as the post has been retweeted more than 115,000 times today.
While an ordination ceremony was going on yesterday at Khao Yai Forest Monastery in Nakhon Ratchasima province, what grabbed the attendees’ attention was puppy “Mocca,” who sat obediently amidst the monks.
Twitter user Nawick Wilson, who shared the photos, wrote that Mocca — a Pomeranian who had recently been given a summer shave — is kept and fed by the temple’s abbot.
Obviously, the abbot loves the Pom enough to allow it to sit with him while performing religious ceremonies.
The Twitter user added that Mocca did not interact with temple goers, only the monks it’s familiar with. Many users responded with, “What an adorable baby!” or shared photos of their own Pomeranians to keep the conversation going.
