Following the path of Cinnamoroll, Miffy, and the Care Bears, tokidoki now comes to town for a pop-up at Kumoya, with an overhaul of the cafe’s dishes, drinks, and desserts to suit the style of the quirky Japanese lifestyle brand. As usual, the decor will take you into the colorful tokidoki world, with a menu curated once again by Little Miss Bento.

If you’ve visited the other pop-ups at this Bugis cafe, you’ll know what to expect, especially since the pricey food and drink creations can start to look rather similar after a while. For example, the truffle fries ($11.90) and nacho cheese fries ($10.90) are mainstays in the selection of snacks, alongside new offerings like sweet potato fries ($10.90), onion rings ($10.90), and crispy chicken ($12.90).

The biggest difference is, of course, the appearance of tokidoki characters on the dishes and pretty much every available surface of the space.

As for mains, the range of items includes seafood ramen, chicken katsu burger, an English-style big breakfast. Meanwhile, sweet treats take the form of chocolate cakes, Hokkaido soft serves, and cotton candy confections.

To load up on more sugar, order the caramel popcorn, mint chocolate chip, or strawberry cheese frappes ($17.90) that come with a free, limited edition Donutella float. Alternatively, you can sip on virgin mojitos ($12.90) in flavors like lychee and strawberry, or the passion fruit and strawberry Calpis with butterfly pea tea overshadowed by a massive, magical, multi-colored dollop of Unicorno’s rainbow cotton candy.
