Police are on the hunt for the driver of a pink Toyota iQ with the registration plate “1CE BABY”, after a hit-and-run this morning that injured six people including a 6-year-old girl.

According to RTHK, the driver hit pedestrians, a minibus, and a double decker bus before abandoning his car on the side of a road and fleeing.

In other words, he failed to stop, collaborate (with police), and listen (to the people presumably shouting stop in the first place).

The incident occurred after 11am this morning when the car hit three pedestrians – two male and one female – at the junction between Nathan Road and Man Ming Lane in Yau Ma Tei, TVB News reports.

It then hit a minibus injuring three more people, before reaching the junction between Shanghai Street and Waterloo Road, where it hit a KMB bus.

Video posted online (see below) shows the driver parking on side of a road near the Yau Ma Tei fruit market. He prepares to get out of the car, waits for a few seconds and gets back in and closes the door behind him. He then gets out of the car and runs across the road leaving the car door open.

Apple Daily reported that six people – aged 6 to 58 years-old – were taken to hospital with minor injuries, and police have cordoned off the area.
