Is there a way to send rapists straight to hell?
“An 18-year-old mother (who asked that her name be withheld) at Happy Land in Tondo, Manila fought off a drug addict who attempted to rape her on Monday night, May 4, but she ended up being repeatedly stabbed with a barbeque stick by the suspect,” reports Itchie G. Cabayan on Journal Online.
According to the police, suspect Virgilio Francisco, 28, barged into the the teen mom’s home at around 7:30pm while she and her one-year-old child were asleep. It is indicated that the suspect most likely knew that the young woman’s partner was not home at that time.
The teen mom was awakened when she felt someone trying to remove her underwear. She began screaming as loud as she could. The suspect got mad and stabbed her repeatedly in different parts of the body with the use of a barbeque stick.
Fortunately, concerned neighbors rushed to help the young woman. They managed to hold down Francisco, who was only wearing his briefs.
The teen mom is now recuperating in a hospital. Francisco is now detained at the Manila Police District-Station 1.
