Yahoo! PH editorial team dissolved under company’s restructuring program

It’s being done due to restructuring.

“U.S.-based multinational Internet corporation Yahoo! is dissolving its entire editorial team in the Philippines as part of the company’s sweeping restructuring program across Asia and Europe,” reports Newsbytes.ph.

The report said that the news was relayed to Yahoo! editorial last Wed, Feb 25.

The report cited a Yahoo! Philippines editorial staff member who said that “the Silicon Valley giant would still have an office in the country” but the staff “will now be composed presumably of marketing and sales professionals.”

Yahoo! established its Philippine office in 2008.
