It’s a good thing he was seen in time.
“At around 5 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, construction worker believed to be under the influence of illegal drugs attempted to jump off the Farmers Plaza building in Cubao, Quezon City,” reports Dexter Ganibe on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The man, who was identified only as “Anthony,” was prevented from harming himself by personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). They rappelled down the building safely.
While the rescue was being done, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) personnel closed the loading bay area in front of the mall along the northbound lane of EDSA.
