Three people were killed after the car they were in was rammed by a bus and caught fire near Rawang on Saturday night.
According to The New Straits Times, the express bus reportedly rammed into the car at the KM447 mark of the PLUS Highway at around 8.15pm
As a result of the collision, both vehicles reportedly burst into flames.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohd Sani Harul told the daily that all 15 passengers plus the driver managed to escape the burning bus.
The three victims in the car, however, were not so lucky.
Mohd Sani told NST that the three victims, all adults, were burnt beyond recognition, and firemen had difficulties determining their identities and gender.
The firemen managed to put out the fire at 9.30pm, which caused a massive traffic jam along the highway.
