Tin Shui Wai Man allegedly stabs wife after she tried to stop him bickering with daughter over bathroom use

Ever had any disagreements with family members and/or housemates over them hogging the bathroom?

Well, this is certainly not the way to handle it.

A father of two was arrested for allegedly attacking his wife with a kitchen knife on Wednesday after she tried to break up an argument between him and their daughter over the girl’s prolonged use of the bathroom in Tin Shui Wai.

The man, surnamed Lam, 57, was said to have started bickering with his 27-year-old daughter over the extended amount of time she was spending in the shower in the home they share at Tin Yat Estate, reports Oriental Daily.

In a bid to stop the quarreling, his 52-year-old wife, surnamed Wong, apparently stepped in. The couple began to argue, and Lam was said to have attacked Wong with a kitchen knife.

Their daughter called the police.

Lam was arrested for assault. Wong sustained injuries in her forehead, face, chin and neck and. She was admitted into an unnamed hospital and is currently in stable condition, according to the paper.
